A bizarre video has emerged of a man putting his tongue in carnivorous plants.

The footage, shot in Ipswich, UK on Thursday, shows the man letting the Venus flytrap close itself on his tongue.

"I wanted to see if it would hurt, it didn't," he wrote online.
