Bridge Demolition in Arkansas Fails Despite Huge Blast

A bridge in Little Rock, Arkansas, withstood an attempted demolition on October 11, remaining in situ after a number of simultaneous detonations. The Broadway Bridge was reportedly due to be imploded at 10 am local time to make way for a new bridge. The detonations occurred, causing clouds of smoke, but the bridge remained standing.
