Did Leonardo DiCaprio really sign up for Elon Musk’s Mars trip?

Leonardo DiCaprio has sailed on the Titanic, battled grizzly bears in the brutal Wild West, and explored dreams. Now, though, the 41-year-old actor says he’s going to travel to Mars — but for real. Leonardo DiCaprio was the special guest at President Obama's South by South Lawn summit in D.C. Monday, and shared an amusing detail during a speech by climate scientist Katharine Hayhoe. As Hayhoe expressed her belief that anyone who was on board with Elon Musk’s recently detailed plans for a possibly deadly trip to Mars was nuts, “I think he’ll acknowledge he’s crazy,” Obama added. DiCaprio chimed in to say, “I did.”
