Dopo gli ottimi risultati in Italia di "Something In The Water" e "Betty" ed il grande riscontro internazionale (#6 in Germania nella album chart - oltre 50.000 copie vendute), torna a farsi sentire la cantautrice neozelandese Brooke Fraser: "Coachella" è il nuovo singolo tratto dal suo album "Flags".
La canzone è dedicata al notissimo festival musicale cui l'artista è particolarmente legata. Proprio mentre assisteva ai concerti dell'edizione 2009, si è risvegliato in lei il desiderio di fare musica in un modo nuovo.
"Coachella" è un'incursione nellʼindie-rock e mostra un altro lato di un'artista che la stampa italiana ha dimostrato di amare davvero (numerosi articoli sui più importanti magazine e quotidiani).
Directed by Shae Sterling for Moonlight Sounds, it's the title track of the first italian album of Brooke Fraser, "Coachella". Dedicated to the world famous music festival in California, it's a powerful pop rock track full of melody and rhythm too... Held every year on verdant polo grounds in Indio, California, the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is many things to many people: A way to hear the best alternative music, a giant lawn party of hipsters wearing hemp sunhats, or the one place you can gawk at members of super-bands as they ride around on golf carts. For Brooke Fraser, Coachella 2009 was the event that re-awakened her desire to make music. It was April and the New Zealand-born singer and songwriter was burnt out after completing a three-year tour... and that's where "Coachella" was born...
