India Celebrates Eid today

On Tuesday, India celebrates Eid ul-Fitr, the Muslim festival that marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month during which Muslims fast from sunrise to sunset. Eid prayers were offered this morning in Eidgahs or open grounds and the mosques.
