Dussehra celebration at Parade Ramleela, Kanpur

Dussehra, also known as Vijayadashami was celebrated on Wednesday in Kanpur. The effigies of the demon king Ravana were burnt at several places to mark the victory of truth over evil. People gathered in large numbers at Parade Ramleela one of the oldest in Kanpur to watch the event.
