Lin-Manuel Miranda to host ‘Saturday Night Live’

“Hamilton” creator and star Lin-Manuel Miranda will host an episode of “Saturday Night Live” on Oct. 8, NBC announced Wednesday.
The Broadway star will be joined on the comedy sketch show by musical guest Twenty One Pilots.
Miranda recently got involved in a number of film projects including Disney’s “Moana” and the upcoming “Mary Poppins” sequel with Emily Blunt and Meryl Streep .
The 42nd season of “Saturday Night Live” will premiere Oct. 1 on NBC with Margo Robbie to host alongside musical guest The Weeknd.
