This is why urban skiing is sometimes a bad idea

Footage has emerged from the US of an urban skier attempting to ride a ledge only to get it wrong and plummet to the ground.

"The video, filmed in Portland, Oregon in February this year, shows Ian Fornelius get tossed and 'abused' while trying to wrestle with a concrete ledge."

"It was late afternoon and Ian was tired," the filmer wrote online, "so he probably should have postponed this battle for another day."
