MAVS, MASSMUTUAL & HILL HARPER HOST FUTURESMART CHALLENGE ASSEMBLY

The Dallas Mavericks and MassMutual invited more than 1,300 DISD middle school students to American Airlines Center to learn about MassMutual's FutureSmart Challenge, a future leadership program that offers middle school students the opportunity to learn about smart educational and financial choices in an exciting interactive seminar followed up by Junior Achievement curriculum in their classrooms during the school year at a later date. The goal of the program is to empower and challenge young future leaders to take positive steps toward a successful career and financial security for themselves, their families and their communities.

Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban opened the assembly by giving students insight into his path to success. He was joined by the host of MassMutual's FutureSmart Challenge, award-winning actor and best-selling author Hill Harper.
