EpicTV athlete Stefano Ghisolfi had wanted to climb a 9a+ roof project, ‘Ultimate Tango’, in southern Italy but a finger injury stopped him in his tracks.

Despite his disappointment, Stefano decides to head to his home crag, Cornalba, in Northern Italy before the competition season starts.

His aim? To repeat a classic Adam Ondra first ascent: ‘Goldrake’ 9a+. Luckily this burly route doesn’t have any finger pockets meaning he can put his injury aside and give the route everything he’s got.

Gritting his teeth, Stefano gets the job done, setting him up for the competition season ahead.
