The idea of these doctoral workshops organized in collaboration with the Institute for Research in International Comparative and European Law (IRDEIC) was to enable PhD students, as well as post-doctoral students, to present their research to their peers from the partner universities of the European School of Law. The workshops were aimed at helping the students to present, communicate on and summarize their work. They also enabled those just beginning a thesis to improve the problematization and to collect expert advice and peer comments. The idea here was to promote the emergence of original and productive ideas. Overall these workshops led to precious advice, comments and new directions for the research presented.
