American swimmer Ryan Lochte has been suspended 10 months for his role in a gas station incident that took place during the Rio Olympics one month ago. The International Olympic Committee, the United States Olympic Committee and USA Swimming all played the roles of judge, jury and executioner. Lochte will also be banned, according to USA Today, from the 2017 world championship meet, which will be held in Budapest next July. Locthe and teammate Jimmy Feigen originally gave conflicting reports of a run-in with gas station attendants after a night of partying.
