Drunk guy speaking Arabic forces United Express flight to make emergency landing

NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE — A drunk passenger speaking loudly in Arabic forced a United Express flight to make an emergency landing on Monday night when he broke down a bathroom door and chucked up his guts.

Flight 3550 from Cincinnati to Houston was rerouted to Nashville, thanks to the antics of Mohammed Nasser Aldoseri.

The 26-year-old suspect told police he downed eight lemon drop shooters before boarding the Embraer ERJ-70 regional jet, ABC affiliate WKRN reported.

Aldoseri’s actions caused “extreme concern for passengers and flight crew” when he broke into an out-of-order bathroom and painted the sink a vivid shade of lemon, according to court documents.

When Aldoseri began speaking Arabic in a loud voice, the captain decided to divert the plane to the nearest airport.

Aldoseri was slumped in his seat asleep when Nashville International Airport police boarded the plane to arrest him. He was charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct, and held on a $3,000 bond.
