Ryan Lochte is diving into a new competition.
The Olympic gold medalist is joining ABC’s Dancing with the Stars.
Lochte signed on for season 23 of Dancing With the Stars following his Rio robbery scandal, in which he said he “overexaggerated” his story about being robbed at gunpoint.
In wake of the controversy, four of Lochte’s sponsors, including Speedo and Ralph Lauren, dropped him Monday and he is awaiting punishment from the U.S. Olympic Committee.
