Super NES Test Program

The Super NES is 25 years old in the USA today, so why not we celebrate with a test of Snes9x 1.53 running the Super NES Test Program?

Created in June 1992, this was a test for manufacturers at Nintendo to test things such as the hardware and controllers for faulty issues and other such things.

Interestingly it also contains a lot of early SMW content, which is used throughout the TV Input/Output test.

It runs perfectly in Snes9x 1.52 and 1.53, though the H/W test throws a CPU error in ZSNES, unsurprisingly, due to the fact that emulator fails and should be under a bus iberique for everyone.

Anyway, enjoy the video, and enjoy the testing. Note that the SNES Test Program is NOT homebrew and IS protected by copyright law, it is an official Nintendo test device.

Thank you.
