Dead dolphin washed up on UK beach may have been attacked by 'large shark'
Footage of a dead dolphin washed up on Portreath Beach in Cornwall, UK with its head and fin apparently bitten off.
The video, filmed on Sunday, shows the animal with bite marks all over its body, which has led to speculation that a large shark might be frequenting British waters.
The filmer later wrote online: "We woke up ... and noticed an animal on the beach not moving so went to have a look to see if we could save it but soon realised it was a baby dolphin that had been attacked by something huge.
"It's fin and head had been bitten off and there were puncture marks about two inches long."
"Wonder what is out there in the sea that did this?" she continued.
