A Saudi-led coalition airstrike has hit a hospital in northern Yemen, killing at least 11 and wounding 19, according to Médecins Sans Frontières.

A witness told a reporter that the injured could not be evacuated immediately as war planes continued to fly overhead and they feared more bombings.

The Abs facility in the Hajja province is run by aid group Médecins Sans Frontières, they said they had repeatedly giving GPS coordinates to all parties in the conflict, including the Saudi-led coalition.

.MSF has supported ABS hospital since July 2015, 4611 patients have been treated since then at the facility. #PT— أطباء بلا حدود-اليمن (msf_yemen) August 15, 2016

Amnesty International condemned the attack.

It comes after another strike hit what MSF said was a school in the neighbouring Sadaa province on Saturday, killing ten children. The Saudi coalition said it targeted a Houthi training facility.

The UN counts more than 3,500 civilians have been killed since Saudi Arabia’s bombing of Houthi rebels began last year.
