A new amusement park in Kazakhstan, said to have the longest zip lines in Asia, has opened to the public. At nearly 3000 metres, the length of the zip lines is nearly a third of Mt. Everest's height. They run over a forested gorge over the heart of a mountain valley in south-eastern Kazakhstan. Riders zip through at a speed of nearly 100 kilometres per hour, and the ride lasts nearly half a minute. This sure isn't a ride for those with a faint heart!
