The Olympic torch completed another week, passing through Rio de Janeiro state as it edges ever closer to Maracana Stadium for the opening ceremony on August 5.
This week the torch visited the sunny islands of Ilha Bela and Angra, where it was carried over land and sea, and met once again by what have proved unfaltering fans. The torch will cross a total of 20,000 kilometers of Brazilian territory before reaching the Olympic City for next week's start to the Games.
