Landslide On The Way to Sharda, Kel @19-07-17

Sharda (Urdu: شاردا ‎) (Also known as Shardi ) is a small town in Neelam District in Azad Kashmir, Pakistan. It is one of the two tehsils of Neelum district, and is reputed to be the most beautiful spot of the Neelum valley. It is located on the banks of the Neelum river at an altitude of 1981m, about 136 kilometers Northeast of Muzaffarabad.
The Kel is located near Line of Control and the road which leads there is non metallic. There are frequent landslides during Summers, and Snow slides on this road during winters. In winters all the routes are blocked and it is very difficult to reach there. All these factors combined made it one of the most difficult places to reach.
