In a small town in the north of France, the Le Quesnoy’s and the Groseille’s, two large families from totally different social backgrounds, never should have met. But that was before Josette came along, the devoted nurse to Dr. Mavial who’s both in love with him and tired of waiting for him to leave his wife. In a moment of madness, the sweet nurse exchanges two newborn babies, one from the Groseille family (the poor ones) with one from the Le Quesnoy family (the rich ones) to take out her frustration with life and get revenge on the doctor. When she realises Mavial is never going to marry her, she fesses up to the two families…
