Taylor Swift Facebook request denied by Apple executive

Among the myriad of announcements made by Apple at the Worldwide Developer's Conference Tuesday was the ability to better interact with notifications and widgets on the iOS 10 lock screen. While demonstrating the new capabilities of the future update, Apple’s senior vice president of software engineering, Craig Federighi, did something completely unthinkable: He dismissed a Facebook friend request from Taylor Swift.
