This supermarket in China is selling products with nothing inside
There's a convenience store in China's Shanghai city that sells products with nothing inside. It's actually not a convenience store at all. It's an elaborate art installation meant to challenge consumer culture.
The Xu Zhen Supermarket, named after the artist who created it, invites would-be shoppers to view products' packaging rather than what's usually inside. The store has taken some shoppers by surprise, but most understand that it's meant to be an art exhibit. The supermarket made its debut in the U.S. in 2007 and has toured art galleries around the world.
