Stephen Curry will not play for Team USA at 2016 Olympics

Two-time NBA MVP Stephen Curry will not be on the USA Basketball roster in this summer's Olympics in Rio. Curry released a statement through the Golden State Warriors organization saying he had spent "a great deal of internal thought" on the subject. An important detail to note here is that Curry, who is currently playing for a championship, suffered a Grade 1 MCL sprain in the Warriors' first-round series with the Houston Rockets and missed four games.
