Jurors hand down death sentence to 'Grim Sleeper' serial killer

A Los Angeles County jury decided Monday that the serial killer known as the "Grim Sleeper" should be put to death. Lonnie David Franklin Jr., a 63-year-old former sanitation worker, murdered at least nine women and one teenage girl between 1985-2007. Jurors rejected defense arguments that he should spend the rest of his life in prison rather than face execution.
