Law enforcement officials have identified the slain UCLA professor in yesterday's murder-suicide. William S. Klug, 39, was a father of two who studied the interaction between mechanics and biology. Klug, an associate professor, was described as both brilliant and kind, colleagues said. “You cannot ask for a nicer, gentler, sweeter and more supportive guy than William Klug," Alan Garfinkel, a professor of integrative biology and physiology told the LA Times.
