Alligators are known to populate areas of Florida, but golf courses? Not so much. As Sarasota resident Charles Helms prepared to tee off, he found himself bewildered by the sight of a 14- to 15-foot alligator roaming across the greens of Buffalo Creek Golf Course in Palmetto.
