Watch multiple videos in KMPlayer

Hey there, welcome along to this Softonic screencast where I’m going to show you something cool you can do with KMPlayer that most other media players won’t let you do.

KMPlayer has a ‘picture-in-picture’ feature that lets you watch multiple videos at the same time. It’s an impressive effect but it takes a bit of setting up so I’ll show you how to do it as painlessly as possible.

Start by launching your first video, which will be the one that appears in the background. Pause it, and then right-click on it. Go to the ‘Screen Controls’ option then move into the ‘On Top’ menu. Now click on ‘Never’.

Now go and open up the next video in a new window in KMPlayer. With this one you need to right-click on it and go to Screen Controls again. This time though, you need to pick ‘Always’ from the On Top menu. Now you need to right-click on the window again and go to ‘Skins’. From here, click the Control Default: Autohide option.

Now you need to repeat this process for all the other videos you want to watch, making sure each time that you’ve selected to always show the video on top and to enable the autohide option like we just did with that last clip. You can add as many videos as you like but bear in mind that having loads open can slow down your machine.

Once you’re done, maximize the first video to full screen and position all the other videos around it. You’ll probably need to resize them while you’re doing this. OK, now you’re done and it means you can start enjoying the benefits of picture-in-picture viewing. It’s up to you what you use it for but it’s great to be able to watch different things at once, plus it’ll makes you look like a James Bond baddy, which can only be a good thing.

Happy viewing and I’ll catch you soon in another Softonic screencast
