Obama preaches human rights in Vietnam, wants 'peaceful resolution' with China

A day after lifting the arms embargo on Vietnam, President Obama is now calling for increased human rights in the country as well as a "peaceful resolution" to disputes in the South China Sea.
One of the points of emphasis in his address to the Vietnamese people was the need to uphold human rights.
Human rights "is not a threat to stability" but reinforces it, Obama said.
Obama also discussed recent problems in the South China sea.
"In the South China Sea, the U.S. is not a claimant in current disputes, but we will stand with our partners in upholding key principles like freedom of navigation," Obama said.
