The Creatures (Siouxsie & Budgie duo) had their track "Fury Eyes" remixed by Pascal Gabriel and released on 19 February 1990 as the second single off their second studio album BOOMERANG. It stayed in the UK Top100 Singles charts for a total of 3 weeks, peaking at #81 on 17 March 1990.
The promo video for the single was filmed – apparently in the first fortnight of February 1990 – at a studio in London, once again directed by Peter Scammel with John Mathieson behind the camera and Richard Bell of (the UK based and now defunct) 'The State Production Company' on producer duties.
This is the original version of the promo video in which the scene with the bare-breasted puppet at 0:23 was regarded inappropriate for daytime television and subsequently it was edited out and replaced with something less offensive in the second, censored version of the video that’s the one best-known to TV and Internet viewers.
