Huge Sinkhole Almost Swallows Car in London

A large sinkhole that opened in a London street early Thursday morning, May 12, almost swallowed a family car, leaving it hanging by its two front wheels. This video shows the blue Vauxhall being removed by crane from the sinkhole, which may have opened due to recent heavy rain in the area, according to a media report.The owner of the car, Ghazi Hassan, was sanguine about the incident, telling a reporter that it “wasn’t a good day,” but thankfully, his family was not in the car at the time, and no one else was injured.
