Instagram's big redesign updates app with vibrant logo, black-and-white text

Instagram's bright new logo is a mixture of pink, purple, yellow and orange. But, that's not the only detail of the company's redesign of the mobile application. A revamped user interface does away with color in favor of a black-and-white look and feel. The new black-and-white design allows the color in the app to come from the community and what’s being shared. Buttons remain in the same positions, and pops of color are still shown to highlight things like notifications.
