Aerial footage has emerged from China of the aftermath of a major landslide that reportedly killed at least 35 people.

The footage, filmed in Sanming, Fujian Province on Monday, shows dozens of excavators as well as rescuers and sniffer dogs searching the rubble for survivors.

Rain has continued to fall heavily so rescue work has reportedly been "difficult".

Offices and housing on the power plant site were completely engufled by the mud and rubble, which killed 35 and left at least one person missing.
