Man gets 8 years for murdering friend and feeding his penis to a dog
CIUDAD JUAREZ, MEXICO — A Mexican man was sentenced to eight years in prison for killing a friend who tried to molest him and then cutting off the man's penis and feeding it to his dog.
A judge sentenced Mario Alberto Lizalde Reyes in the murder of his friend, Mario Hernandez Banda, on Sept. 27, 2014, the Chihuahua attorney general's office said, according to a report by the El Paso Times.
Reyes was walking his dog with Banda in 2014 when the pair got into an argument.
Apparently the two were both drunk when Banda tried to touch Reyes in a sexual way.
Reyes pushed him away, and then Banda went into an alley to urinate.
"I followed him, pulled out my gun and shot him in the head," Reyes said in a 2014 televised confession.
"I then took his knife off him and chopped off his penis as punishment and put it in a bag," he said.
He said his dog happened to be next to him and was sniffing at the detached johnson so he decided to give it to the dog, who then proceeded to eat it.
Reyes left Banda's body in the alley and finished walking his dog before heading home to sleep off the alcohol.
Reyes was previously facing life imprisonment for the grizzly murder.
