A barge was used to pull a decommissioned Boeing 767 airplane from Shannon Airport, Co Clare, to Sligo on Ireland’s west coast on Saturday, May 7, as part of an unusual plan devised by a funeral director and owner of a glamping site.
David McGowan reportedly planned to install the plane as part of a glamping village in Enniscrone, Co Sligo. He reportedly also has a number of London taxis and a double decker bus at the site. This footage shows the 767 making its way up the River Shannon, pulled by a barge. Credit: YouTube/Eye In The Sky
