Known on the silver screen for Grey's Anatomy and Mistresses, actor Jason George is in nothing like you've ever seen him before.

In "12 Angry Men," currently playing at the Pasadena Playhouse, he gives an impeccable performance. Angela Bassett, Dawnn Lewis and Keith David was there for support. Mr. David was almost speechless describing his performance, stating that, "I have so much respect for him; he always brings it to the table. He is one of my favorite actors."

Grey Anatomy's cast mate James Pickens was also there. Our associate, LaCora Stephens, spoke with him about the play which Trayvon Martin was the impetus. Mr. Pickens said though written in the 1950's the play was timely. He added, "Hopefully things like Trayvon Martin [case] and Miami Dolphins [bullying] will draw attention to racism and cause us not to think that everything is ok, because it's not." Cast members Ellis Williams and Jacques Smith, who each gave a dynamic performance, seemed to echo the same thought.
