Leonard Bernstein- Young Peoples Concerts Vol. 2: Bach Transmogrified (1969)

Recorded on April 27, 1969 at Philharmonic Hall in Lincoln Center, New York City. Produced and Directed by Roger Englander. The program contains the Little Fugue in G minor in 3 different transmogrifications, the organ played by Michael Korn, the orchestra, with guest conductor Leopold Stokowski, and on the moog synthesizer on tape prepared by Walter Sear. David Nadian plays part of the Partita in E major. Leonard Bernstein and the NY Philharmonic play Lukas Foss Phorion. And also, a part of the Brandenburg Concerto No.5, with David Nadian as the violinist, Julius Baker as the flutist, and Leonard Bernstein on the piano. And lastly, a rock variation and a fantasy of that same part of the 5th Brandenburg Concerto was played by the New York Rock and Roll Ensemble.
