Pentagon to establish military presence on Russian border in February 2017

Not since the cold war have we seen U.S. troops posted along NATO's eastern borders.
Tensions are on the rise between Russia and thewest, which signaled a bold move made by the Pentagon that serves to stunt Russian aggression in the near future.
America's top U.S. commander in Europe, General Philip Breedlove, maintains thatNATO allies and partners will see "more capability" from the countries' military in the region, with a bevy of advanced equipment tocome next year.
Thousands of soldiers, heavy vehicles and tanks will be stationed along NATO's eastern flank across six countries beginning in February 2017.
New gear will include Bradley Fighting Vehicles, Paladin self-propelled howitzers and more than 1,700 additional wheeled vehicles.
