NFL Football Player Will Svitek Mentors 8-Year-Old Dealing With Parent’s Cancer

Former NFL Football Player, Will Svitek, mentors kids who need companionship. The former Stanford Cardinal and Atlanta Falcons football player continues overcome his father’s death from cancer by becoming a mentor to a young child dealing with the same issue. Will met 8-year-old Rocco through the organization “Walk with Sally.”
“Walk with Sally” is dedicated to providing free mentoring programs and loving support to children whose parents or siblings have cancer or who have died from the disease. Will and Rocco have bonded over sports, homework, pizza and just talking about fears and living life with a parent who has cancer. While it is Will who is giving his time to Rocco—it’s both who are reaping the rewards.
