A farmer in Desborough, England, used a hairdryer and then a kitchen range oven to save the life of a newborn lamb after it climbed into a bucket of cold water, according to local reports. Ed Dee found the day-and-a-half-old lamb “sodden and very close to death”. He used a hairdryer to warm up the lamb and, when the animal’s body temperature fell again, placed it in a kitchen range oven with the door open. This clip shows the hairdryer being used.
The lamb has made a full recovery and is now reportedly back with its mother. Credit: Facebook/West Lodge Farm Park
