How to tell which Self-hosted WordPress plugins are slow? This doesn't work for Wordpress.com blogs. It isn't very hard but not obvious either. If you host your own WordPress blog, or use WordPress.com, you likely have a bunch of plugins that run when someone visits your site, and when you use the admin interface.

If you want to know which plugins are typically taking the most memory to run and slowing down your site, there is an easy way to tell. It is called the P3 Plugin Performance Profiler. It will run some tests on your site and then give you detailed info and charts on what plugins are slow and which are doing okay.

Have you found better ways to tell what plugins are slow on your site? Please share them in the comments and let me know if there is something else you want me to cover as well. Thanks for watching!
