Theres a lot to say here so if you please, read the whole description!\r
////////////////////////////////////////\r
Thanks!\r
\r
Thanks to MrExctbhj, he did not give me anything but the idea for this video. Also the Hebrew clip I have featured was also featured in one of his videos. Other than that, every clip you see was either found by me or by some fan of my older video: DEUUEAUGH in 20 Languages.\r
\r
The following video clips were only possible due to these people:\r
\r
Malay: Big thanks to Hafiz Izzudin, this person sent it to me specifically!\r
Swedish: Thanks to Mulki Lair for uploading this language!\r
\r
Q&A:\r
\r
1. How long did it take to collect these clips?\r
\r
All together, around 45+ hours. This is counting all the legitimate hours I worked to find, download, and convert the formats of all the clips you see in this video.\r
\r
2. How did you get all these clips?\r
\r
I used Google Translate to translate key words like something smells, spongebob, online, videos, episodes, season 2, episode 44, and others into each language. I also used the name SpongeBob translated into the language with the help of the SpongeBob Wiki. I looked through nearly every google page that came up to see if the website hosted a video. It was rare if I could find videos in that language. It was even rarer if I found the episode Something Smells, the episode in which the DEUUEAUGH fish (Fred) delivered his famous line. \r
\r
Finding the episode posed a huge challenge. To know I was on the right track, I memorized what a certain set of characters looked like, that I knew meant something SpongeBob related. When I found a link contain this construction of letters, I clicked the link. This was very hard with the languages that do not look like English. Chinese, Persian, and Japanese were particularly difficult to find anything on. (I still have not gotten Japanese, but I have found a DVD with the episode on it for 1,500 yen.)\r
\r
Many times I found popular video-sharing websites that regularly had its users post videos in a language I needed for SpongeBob. I looked up the name in the language and went solely by thumbnails to see if I had the right episode. As a result, I can now recognize every frame from the episode Something Smells in an instant. Persian was especially satisfying to finally find. Just as I had about given up, I saw the thumbnail of a Something Smells frame. Hurriedly, I clicked it, and it was indeed the right episode!\r
\r
3. May I help with your video? May I submit a clip?\r
\r
Absolutely! Doing so tremendously helps me out, as certain websites I cant access because I live in America. (And proxy servers work like once every 30 times for me.)\r
\r
