Heres Ted Nichols original theme music for Scooby-Doo, Where Are You? as presented in slightly restored format, featuring 2 variations of the opening theme (read below). \r

This theme was originally used for the 1st episode What A Night For A Knight, while the closing credits used the more familiar theme song. For A Clue For Scooby Doo, it was used for both the opening AND closing credit sequences. (Some airings of this episode even featured a laugh track during the intro, as presented in this video.) Afterwards, it was never heard again, although it was carried on early airings of Hassle in the Castle, Which Witch is Which?, and A Night of Fright is No Delight for the end credits. It was eventually resurrected when the show re-aired on USAs Cartoon Express in 1990, as well as its run on Cartoon Network, until Turner decided to remaster all the episodes in 1998.
