Volunteer teacher Gary Payac of Alcadev--a privately operated but government-regulated learning institution providing basic and technical education to lumad children in communities rarely reached by government services--recounts to the media how community leader Dionel Campos, his cousin Aurelio Sinzo and Alcadev executive director Emerito Samarca were killed by members of Magahat-Bagani paramilitary group in Diatagon village in Lianga town, Surigao del Sur on Sept. 1, 2015.
