President Benigno Aquino III recounted the first time he addressed an anniversary of the Philippine Daily Inquirer, he was only six months in office and PDI was celebrating its 25th year. "It seems a lifetime ago," he told the employees, stakeholders and guests on Wednesday night at a hotel in Pasay City. Now with "about 204 days left in office," he addressed the paper's 30th anniversary celebration, pointing out PDI's adherence to its motto "balanced news, fearless views" over the years.
