The cold and desolate Canada of Junior Boys

The fifth Junior Boys album Big Black Coat centers around the Canadian Winter. That of Hamilton, Ontario, where singer Jeremy Greenspan has his studio to be precise. He is inspired by the desolate atmosphere. "There's a huge amount of downtrodden people who have lost their jobs and mental health, drinking, or drugs problems. I wanted to talk about these people."
