Yoko Ono has been hospitalized for the flu and dehydration and did not suffer a stroke, despite rumors.
The 83-year-old artist and widow of The Beatles legend John Lennon arrived at a hospital in New York Friday after reporting flu-like symptoms, her rep told E!
News, adding she was diagnosed with the flu and dehydration and was admitted overnight.
"She is alert and talking," the rep said, adding she is expected to be released Saturday.
Her and John's son, Sean Lennon, posted on his Twitter page Friday evening, "Hey guys it was only rumors from press: was NOT a stroke, just dehydration/tired.
She is FINE.
Thank you everyone for your concern @yokoono."
