Rai Lala Chunnamal ki Haveli built in 1848 is one of the well-preserved haveli in the walled city of old Delhi in the Chandni Chowk area. The house has 128 rooms spread over three floors.
Chunnamal was a wealthy buisness man and was confered upon the title of "Rai Bahadur" for his support and services to Delhi.
Anil Pershad, the sixth generation of Rai Lala Chunnamal, lives in the house with his extended family. He reminisces about the time when 50 family members lived in the house in full festivity. Inspite of a falling terrace and seepage issues the family wants to preserve this magnificent building forever.
