Episode 1 - Beauties Battling for Pride and Prestige!\r
After finding out that this years Unova League will be taking place in Vertress City, Ash cant wait! Our heroes say goodbye to Cynthia and Jervis and off they go, planning to stop by the Village of Dragons on the way so Iris can visit her hometown.\r
\r
During a break for lunch, Iris and Emolga have an unpleasant encounter with a group of three well-dressed and snooty girls, who throw around some insults about their appearance and then flounce away laughing. Iris is furious at their arrogance, and heads into town to find out who the mean girls were and where to find them. It seems the three are part of the Flower Garden Troupe, a group of female performers and their Pokémon. That means no guys allowed in their headquarters—and no male Pokémon, either!\r
\r
But Iris is determined to get in and get even, and she manages to talk Ash and Cilan into coming with her, even when that means all three of them getting decked out in fancy dresses, jewelry, and makeup. Pansage has to wear a pink bow—and even Pikachus tail gets a disguise!\r
\r
Once inside, our disguised heroes ask if they can watch the troupe rehearse, and the leader Moira agrees. She offers them some pointers on style and poise, and then presents them with a series of challenges. First, our heroes Pokémon will have to cross a balance beam to demonstrate their sense of grace. When that proves too easy, the stakes are raised: its a balance beam battle, and this time theres a mud pit underneath! Finally, its time for the Beauty Battlefield, where Iris finally gets her revenge, defeating Moira and one of her minions and knocking them into the mud. A beautiful victory!\r
\r
Episode 2 - A Surface to Air Tag Battle Team!\r
\r
On the way to Vertress City, site of the upcoming Unova League, our heroes notice a Drilbur and a Braviary who seem to be watching them. Their Trainers—brothers Rocko and Soren—show up soon after and challenge Ash to a Tag Battle! Ash is happy to accept, and decides to pair up with Cilan for a similar land-and-air team of Pansage and Unfezant.\r
\r
The first move the brothers call for is Drill Wing, which none of our heroes has ever heard of before! It turns out Soren and Rocko are skilled at using double-move attacks—in this case, Drilburs Drill Run combined with Braviarys Wing Attack. It doesnt take Ash and Cilan long to pick up on this technique, and with some impressive teamwork, they defeat the brothers.who immediately start blaming each other.\r
\r
Cilan steps in to break up the fight, and wields his Pokémon Connoisseur skills to offer them some advice: each brother is well matched with his own Pokémon, but they need a Water-type Pokémon to round out their land-and-air team. And of course, since Cilan is also a Fishing Connoisseur, hes happy to give them some lessons on how to catch one. They first hook two feisty Frillish, but cant agree on a strategy for catching them, so the Frillish get away. Once Soren and Rocko calm down and start working together, they manage to catch a Buizel and a Corphish to add to their team. Now they can boast of being rulers of the land, the air, and the water!\r
\r
Our heroes say goodbye to the brothers with promises of a Tag Battle rematch if they meet again, and the journey to the Unova League continues!\r
\r
