Report: Dwight Howard has not asked for a trade

Dwight Howard talked about the remainder of the season as a Rocket after the team's loss to Portland on Wednesday but there were signs the team could be looking at trading their prize free-agent acquisition of 2013.
Yahoo Sports reported today that the Rockets have begun contacting teams about Howard before the Feb. 18 trade deadline.
Howard can opt out of his contract at the end of the season, but the prevailing theory was that the Rockets would want him back and Howard would want to return.
"I have not asked the Rockets to trade me...I want to win.
I want this situation to work.
I chose this team.
And I'm not running because we have been faced with some adversity," Howard said in a statement to ESPN on Thursday.
